Prologue Racing Team has named an 11-rider senior squad for 2027, eight of them under-23s, and Wold Top Pactimo RT has completed its squad with Jake Jackson, Ryan Williams, and Tim Torrie. RideRevolution Coaching CT has named Edwin Boyle as its second new signing, Daisy Barnes stays with Solas Race Team, and Sam Walsham stays with Colina x Ciovita Racing.
Abroad, Elliot Rowe will step up to Visma–Lease a Bike’s WorldTeam in 2027. Wielerflits reported the move on 6 November, and Domestique says the team has confirmed it, though Visma has yet to announce it. The 20-year-old Scot won the British under-23 road title in June and was 6th overall at the Tour of Britain in September, and his promotion completes the Dutch team’s squad.

Domestic
Wold Top Pactimo RT has completed its squad for 2027 with four new signings, after naming 14 riders who stay on 1 November. Ben Baker, the first, was in our last edition. Jake Jackson (O’Neills Spirit Racing Team to Wold Top Pactimo RT, confirmed 5 November) raced for Muc-Off–SRCT–Storck in 2025, when he was 14th at the Dawlish Grand Prix, 18th at the Otley Grand Prix, and 21st at the National Circuit Championships. The team says he took a step back this year: he was entered for O’Neills Spirit Racing Team at the Rapha Lincoln Grand Prix and the East Cleveland Classic, but did not start either. Ryan Williams (Cycling Sheffield to Wold Top Pactimo RT, confirmed 6 November), 20, spent the past two seasons with Cycling Sheffield after several years with BCC Race Team, and was 12th at the Yorkshire U23 Classic in 2025. As a junior, the team says, he was 4th at the GP Plouay, 8th at the national junior road race championships, and 9th overall at the Junior Tour of Wales. His move into senior racing “hasn’t quite gone as he’d hoped”, the team says, and Williams calls Wold Top “a new challenge in a fresh environment”.
Tim Torrie (Issoire Cyclisme to Wold Top Pactimo RT, confirmed 7 November) completes the four. The 26-year-old spent this season with the French club Issoire Cyclisme, after a year with Defined Cycling Team, with whom he was 12th at the National Time Trial Championships in 2025, and three seasons with trainSharp before that. His best road result on our Stats Hub is 3rd at the Jock Wadley Memorial in 2023. Freddy Pett (Wold Top Pactimo RT, leaving, destination not announced), on the team’s roster this year, was not named among the 18, so he leaves; where he is going has not been announced. Wold Top will have 16 men for 2027, and two women, Daniella Cullum and Jas Townend, who are in our women’s guide.
Prologue Racing Team has named an 11-rider senior squad for 2027, and says it keeps the youth focus of the under-23 squad it added for this season. Zack Lowe (Prologue Racing Team, as an under-23, confirmed 5 November) steps up from the team’s juniors for his first under-23 season. Louis Herring, Zack Miles, Dan Kemp, Magnus Denwood, and James Beagley (all Prologue Racing Team, staying, confirmed 5 November) stay for their second, as does Isaac Oliver, who won the Yorkshire U23 Classic in August. Oli Sergeant (Prologue Racing Team, staying, confirmed 5 November) stays for his last. Liam Slinn and Matt Williams (both Prologue Racing Team, staying, confirmed 5 November) continue as riders and as mentors to the younger riders, and Matt Mannakee (Prologue Racing Team, staying, confirmed 5 November) will race at masters level. Charles Harrison, Callum Watson, and Ethan Whiteside (all Prologue Racing Team, leaving, destination not announced), on this year’s roster, are not in the squad, so they leave; where they are going has not been announced. The team is announcing its riders one a day on Instagram.
Edwin Boyle (Flanders U19 Academy to RideRevolution Coaching CT, confirmed 6 November) is the second new signing RideRevolution Coaching CT has named for 2027, after Harper Johnson, for the International Development Programme the team told us about on 31 October. The 18-year-old will be a first-year under-23, and raced this season for the Belgian junior team Flanders U19 Academy, with which, the team says, he was 2nd at the GP OG Cycles–Souvenir François Vanassche and 8th in a race at Kluisbergen. At home he was 19th at the Portsdown Classic in February. Eight of the ten new signings are still to be named.
Daisy Barnes (Solas Race Team, staying, confirmed 28 October) is the fifth rider in Solas Race Team’s Performance Team for 2027, after Lowri Richards, Lydia Louw, Jenny Holl, and Arianne Holland. She raced for the Scottish team this year.
Sam Walsham (Colina x Ciovita Racing, staying, rider-announced 6 November) will race a second season with the club team, and says his focus is shifting: “Bit less focused on hours, bit more focused on results for 2027.” The 26-year-old son of the former professional Mark Walsham was 5th at the Rutland–Melton CiCLE Classic in April, riding for BC East Midlands Carter-Legrand, and 4th at the Dulwich Paragon Wally Gimber Trophy in March. Last year, with Reflex Nopinz RT, he was 4th overall at the Peak 2 Day, as we noted when Nopinz RT announced it was closing its elite team.
Britons abroad
Elliot Rowe (Visma–Lease a Bike Development to Visma–Lease a Bike, reported 6 November) will race for Visma–Lease a Bike’s WorldTeam in 2027, as Wielerflits first reported. Domestique says the team has confirmed it, but Visma has not yet announced the move or said how long his contract runs. The 20-year-old from Aberdeenshire, who came through Deeside Thistle, has spent two seasons with the team’s development squad. In June he won the British under-23 road race title in Aberystwyth, outsprinting Mattie Dodd, who wrote in his journal for us that Rowe gave nothing away in the final laps: “he’d be great at poker if cycling doesn’t work out for him”. This season he was also 6th overall at the Giro Next Gen and won a stage of the Alpes Isère Tour. In September he rode the Tour of Britain for Great Britain, finishing 6th overall and wearing the best young rider’s white jersey from the opening stage in Lincoln to the finish in the Scottish Borders. Last year he won a stage of the Tour de l’Avenir and was 2nd to Callum Thornley at the under-23 Il Lombardia. “It would be nice to step up with them,” he told us in February. According to Domestique, the only other new riders in Visma’s squad for 2027 are Mark Donovan, from Pinarello Q36.5, and Matisse Van Kerckhove, also promoted from the development team.
All of the moves above are on Mercato 2027, our tracker of transfers and rider moves, and the domestic moves are in our 2027 team guides for women’s and men’s teams. If you missed it, the last edition had Nopinz RT closing its elite team, Draft Racing and Aero CLCTV growing, and Tomos Pattinson stepping up to EF Education–EasyPost.
