Who is going where for 2027?
Mercato 2027 is our tracker of transfers and rider moves in British domestic road racing: every change of team we have been able to stand up, from riders joining or leaving British teams to British riders changing teams abroad and juniors heading to overseas squads. It is updated as moves are confirmed and it feeds the Stats Hub, where confirmed moves change a rider’s team on the effective date.
Team news, from mergers and new teams to closures and changes of status, will be covered in our forthcoming 2027 team guides. Few riders on the domestic scene hold a contract, so most of what follows is a change of team rather than a transfer in the professional sense; we use the word because it is the one people search for.

How to read this page
Every entry carries a status. Confirmed means the receiving team has announced it (or the departing team, for exits and retirements). Rider-announced means the rider has posted the move and the team has not yet confirmed. Reported means a named outlet or journalist has reported it and neither party has announced. Only confirmed moves go into the Stats Hub. Contract lengths are not listed here; where a source gives one, it appears in the Mercato round-up.
Level is the tier of the team the rider is joining (or staying with): WorldTeam; ProTeam; UCI Continental, which includes the development teams that WorldTeams register at Continental level; EDT, a British Cycling Elite Development Team; Elite, a domestic elite or club team, including under-23 development squads; Club, an overseas club team such as a French DN1; and Junior. Where a team’s level for 2027 has not been confirmed, we use its 2026 level. British-registered teams count as domestic wherever they race, so Zappi Racing Team, which is affiliated to British Cycling but based in Italy, is listed here as a British team.
