Her new team says she will join its Classics squad, with a focus on the hillier one-day races. She is the second Scot on its roster for 2027, after Eilidh Shaw.
Eilidh Shaw (UAE Development Team to Infusion Network–Meridian, confirmed 14 October) is 21 and from Airdrie. Joe Blackmore (NSN Cycling Team to Netcompany INEOS, confirmed 14 October) is 23 and has signed for three years. He came to the road late, from cyclo-cross and mountain biking, and rode only four road races in 2023. A year later he had stepped up early from the Israel–Premier Tech Academy to the ProTeam and become the first British winner of the Tour de l’Avenir. He rode the Tour de France in 2025, but this season has been almost lost to a knee problem that needed surgery in May. “It’s been a tough 2026 for me with injuries, but it’s made me even more motivated to reach my full potential,” he said.
James Shaw (EF Education-EasyPost to Netcompany INEOS, confirmed 14 October) is 30 and joins the team that, he said, inspired him as a kid. He turned professional with Lotto–Soudal at 20, was let go after two seasons and rebuilt his career at home with SwiftCarbon Pro Cycling, Riwal and Ribble Weldtite, at one point looking into becoming a train driver. EF took him back to the WorldTour in 2022, and this season he was second on the Großglockner stage of the Tour of Austria. We interviewed him in 2019, during his SwiftCarbon season.
Ethan Vernon (NSN Cycling Team, staying, confirmed 13 October) is 26 and has extended his contract to the end of 2029. He won four times this season: stage 4 of the Tour Down Under, stage 4 of the Volta a Catalunya, his third stage win there, and the first two stages of the Région Pays de la Loire Tour.
Joshua Golliker (EF Education-Aevolo to Bourg-en-Bresse Ain Cyclisme, confirmed 15 October) is 22 and spent two years with Groupama–FDJ’s development team before joining EF Education-Aevolo midway through 2025. His best result this season was fourth overall at the Tour of Rhodes in March.

All of the moves above are on Mercato 2027, our tracker of transfers and rider moves, and the women’s moves are in our 2027 women’s team guide. Morven Yeoman, who won the National Road Series and the Rapha Super-League this season, will race abroad in 2027 with Infusion Network–Meridian.
