2026 national road race rankings: the final standings

Loughborough Lightning and Ride Revolution Coaching are The British Continental’s 2026 team champions, and Lily Martin and Thomas Armstrong the individual champions, after the national road race rankings closed with Saturday’s Riders Collective GP and KLM Taxis Women’s GP at Walton. Both team titles were decided on the day.

Lightning’s was the closer call. DAS–Hutchinson had led the women’s table for some time and came to the final round 38 points clear, with no rider entered. Lightning had two on the startlist: Georgia Lancaster finished fifth and Rosie Simmons 13th, worth 46 points between them, and Lightning finish on 1,028 to DAS–Hutchinson’s 1,020. FTP–Fulfil The Potential Racing are third on 972, with Handsling Alba Development Road Team fourth and Paralloy RT fifth. Lancaster has been a stagiaire with O’Shea Red Chilli Bikes for UCI races since August; she remains registered with Lightning for domestic racing, as Martin does under the same arrangement, and her points stay with them.

In the open table Ride Revolution Coaching led JAKROO Handsling Racing by 17 points going in and brought seven riders to JAKROO’s two. Oscar Nisbett’s second place at Walton was JAKROO’s answer; Clay Davies’s fourth and Josh Housley’s sixth were Ride Revolution’s, and the Hertfordshire team finish on 1,424 to 1,388. Wheelbase CabTech Castelli, the 2025 runners-up, are third on 1,228, with DAS Richardsons fourth on 1,160 and Foran CT fifth.

The individual titles were settled before the weekend. Martin, a Lightning rider, wins the women’s rankings on 582 points, 147 clear of Morven Yeoman (DAS–Hutchinson), with Anna Morris third on 428. Armstrong (Wheelbase CabTech Castelli) wins the open rankings on 578, 130 clear of Danylo Riwnyj (Foran CT), with Lewis Tinsley (BCC Race Team) third on 382. Davies’s fourth place at Walton lifted him to fourth overall, past Oliver Dawson and Alex Murphy, and Adam Lewis’s win took him into the top 10.
