Smurfit Westrock confirm retained riders for 2026 season
Smurfit Westrock will retain seven riders as they head into the second year of their title sponsorship, with eight riders set to depart after a strong 2025 campaign
Smurfit Westrock Cycling Team has confirmed the riders it will retain for the 2026 season as it enters the second year of its three-year sponsorship deal with packaging giant Smurfit Westrock.
The UCI Continental team, which enjoyed a strong 2025 campaign, will retain Alice Colling, Amelia Cebak, Annabel Ramsay, Jo Tindley, Lucy Ellmore, Lucy Gadd, and Lucy Glover.
“This group has shown consistency, commitment, and teamwork throughout the past year, and we look forward to building on that foundation in the season ahead.”

The announcement follows a solid year of results for the team. Among the highlights were Lucy Harris’s win at the ANEXO/CAMS Women’s CiCLE Classic, where she took a superb solo victory, and a second place for late-season signing Teniel Campbell at the Grote Prijs Yvonne Reynders.
However, several riders will move on at the end of the year. Departing are Sian Botteley, Bexy Dew, Teniel Campbell, Alex Morrice, CiCLE Classic winner Harris, Niamh Murphy, Holly Ramsey (who joined mid-season after the closure of Hess Cycling Team), and Grace Reynolds, runner-up at the Curlew Cup in 2025.
We understand that the team has seven new signings lined up, with announcements due in the coming days.
