The Process

The awards cover nine categories, from Domestic Rider of the Year to Outstanding Contribution to Domestic Road Racing. Each category features a shortlist of nominees, selected based on performances and contributions throughout 2024, as well as nominations from readers.

The panel has used a structured scoring system to evaluate each nominee against defined criteria for each award. In categories where conflicts of interest arose – for instance if they or their respective teams were being considered – panellists were asked to recuse themselves from scoring.

Whatโ€™s Next?

The shortlisted nominees and the final winners will be announced over the coming weeks, beginning with the first category, Breakthrough Rider of the Year.

Who will take home the honours? The countdown begins now. Keep your eyes peeled for the nominee announcements!
