Natalie Grinczer joins DAS-Hutchinson for 2025 after challenging two seasons

British rider Natalie Grinczer has signed with DAS-Hutchinson for the 2025 season, joining a team that has undergone significant restructuring ahead of a pivotal year in domestic and international racing.

The 30-year-old has endured a turbulent couple of seasons, balancing professional cycling with work as an NHS physiotherapist while navigating the instability of the women’s pro scene. After financial troubles forced the collapse of Stade Rochelais in early 2023, she secured a mid-season transfer to Lifeplus-Wahoo, earning a late call-up to race the Tour de France Femmes. However, 2024 brought further hardship when she suffered a serious crash in the Vuelta Femenina, leaving her hospitalised with significant injuries. Reflecting on her recovery, she admitted that “returning to the life of an independent 30-year-old” was as much of a challenge as the physical rehabilitation itself.

Left without a contract after her time with the Roland WorldTour team, Grinczer has now found a new home – and renewed vigour – at DAS-Hutchinson. She remains determined and optimistic, stating in DAS-Hutchinson’s announcement: “I’m very grateful for the opportunity to continue racing. This year hasn’t been the easiest, so I’m super happy to be joining a British team with some familiar faces and friends.”

Her signing comes as DAS Hutchinson undergoes major squad changes, reinforcing its ambitions for 2024 and beyond. The team has expanded its UCI Continental calendar while redoubling it focus on domestic racing, aiming to be a dominant force in the UK peloton. Grinczer’s experience and versatility—including a Queen of the Mountains title at Rás na mBan and two starts at the Tour de France Femmes—add depth to a squad looking to build momentum.
