Legendary cycling commentator, and former pro rider, Paul Sherwen passed away on Sunday. Paul and Phil (Liggett, his commentating partner) were the voices of the Tour de France for decades for many in the English-speaking world.
And yesterday we heard the news that Pete Shelley of the Buzzcocks had died. Pete wrote the now iconic theme tune for Channel 4’s Tour de France coverage.Â
