Storm-force weather brought the 2026 Peak 2 Day to an early end on Sunday 15 March, leaving Anna Morris and Jake Edwards to emerge as the overall winners after the Holme Moss time trial was followed by the cancellation of both final road races on safety grounds.
Jenson Young, Anna Morris and Awen Roberts took the first stage wins of the weekend at the Peak 2 Day on Saturday 14 March, with Morris ending the day in the women’s leader’s jersey.
On Sunday 23 February, junior Mark Ketteringham (Prologue Racing Team) judged wind, handicap and timing to perfection to win the 58th Clayton Spring Classic, sprinting from a select front group to hold off the pursuing elite riders on the windswept Bashall Eaves circuit.
