One of Britain’s best-loved criteriums gains Super-League status on 22 July after the Cambridge Criterium’s organisers opted to pause the race and return on a new course. The reshuffle hands the North Yorkshire Grand Prix the finale;and gives both title races a new shape.
Britain’s longest one-day road race will not run this year after organisers Yomp Bonk Crew concluded the event could no longer pay its way. Organiser Will Foster hopes it can return.
The Rapha Super-League and National Circuit Series converge on Dawlish seafront on Friday 17 July, with Megan Barker poised to reclaim the women’s series lead, Morven Yeoman able to strengthen her grip on the Super-League and Guildford winner Thomas Armstrong chasing back-to-back victories.
