The Tour of the Reservoir returns to the moorland above Derwent Reservoir this Sunday on a revised, more compact course but the same old North Pennines jeopardy: exposed roads, restless winds, repeated climbs and two National Road Series races that could splinter long before they reach Front Street.

Luca Nicholson won the Eastern Road Championship in Barking on Sunday, attacking over the top of a four-man front group on the final ascent of Willisham Hill and holding off a fast-closing Callum Laborde by a few metres.
Jack Rootkin-Gray attacked clear on the final lap to win the London Dynamo Summer Road Race solo at Staplefield on Sunday 31 May, while Emma Leslie (FTP–Fulfil The Potential Racing) won solo in the women’s race, 12 days after signing for the team.
