The outline of the 2026 domestic road racing calendar is becoming clearer as organisers in the West Midlands and South West confirm additional fixtures. The latest announcements, which follow earlier releases over recent weeks, help to establish the early structure of next yearโs National B and regional racing programme.
Four races have now been added to the West Midlands schedule, reinforcing the regionโs position as one of the busiest areas for domestic road racing.
Theย Evesham Vale Road Race, a National B event set forย 8 March, will again use the familiar Inkberrow circuit, supported by a Regional B event earlier in the day. Later in the spring,ย Wellandย will host aย Under-23 National Road Seriesย round onย 14 June, returning elite development racing to the WorcestershireโHerefordshire border.
Theย Solihull CC Womenโs Team Cupย takes place onย 5 July, also at Inkberrow, alongside a Regional A support race. The fixture remains one of the regionโs most established womenโs National Bs. The sectorโs autumn will then conclude with theย Nick Clayton Memorialย onย 13 September, run as a two-stage, one-day National B using circuits around Leighton.
With these additions, William Fotheringham estimates that the West Midlands will deliverย around 20โ22 days of road racingย in 2026 once permissions are finalised, continuing a pattern of strong activity in the region.
In the South West, organisers have confirmed a stage race and a divisional championships event
Theย TotnesโVire 2-Day Stage Race, promoted by Mid Devon CC, will return onย 4โ5 April. The race, one of the longest-running stage events in the UK, remains a central part of the regionโs spring calendar.
Onย 31 May, Plymouth Corinthian CC will promote theย Ermington Classic, which will incorporate a wide set of divisional titles:
Womenโs championships:ย South West, South, Welsh
Open championships:ย South West, South
Organisers are in discussions with Ermington Parish Council regarding local arrangements and event integration, thoughย final course and finish details have not yet been confirmed. The race will run on the SW167 circuit regardless, marking its first use as a National B course.
