Muc-Off–SRCT–Storck has added another exciting talent to its already dominant roster, signing Henry Hunter from Kendal Cycle Club ahead of the second half of the 2025 season.
The move represents a major step up for Hunter, a promising 20-year-old who only recently made the switch from fell running to road racing but has already made waves on the domestic scene.
Hunter’s athletic roots lie in the fells of the Lake District, where he cut his teeth as a junior runner on the rugged hills surrounding his hometown. But over the past two seasons, he has quietly established himself as one of the most exciting young riders outside the UCI Continental ranks. His headline result came at this year’s Mennock Pass Stage Race, where he soloed to victory on Stage 1 in brutal conditions and went on to finish third overall.
That result, coupled with consistent performances in National B races and a top-15 finish at the East Cleveland Classic and 18th at the brutal Tour of the Reservoir, caught the attention of the team manager Adam Ellis.

“I first noticed Henry at Cleveland this year,” Ellis said. “He’s a young rider who’s showing some great potential, with two top 20s in National A races and time in the break at the Lincoln GP. He comes from a fell running background so has fantastic endurance and will be one to watch in the longer, harder races. Helping develop another U23 is something we’re really looking forward to on the team. His first race will be Fort Vale, but the main aim for Henry is to help bolster the road team in the National Road Series.”
For Hunter, the move represents a rapid rise. Until now, he has been racing in club colours for Kendal CC, learning the ropes in regional road races. Now, he joins a squad that has set the standard in 2025, topping the National Road Series standings with a string of standout performances from the likes of Adam Howell, Alex Beldon, and Ed Morgan.
The addition of Hunter also comes at a critical time for the team, as Morgan recovers from a broken collarbone sustained at the National Road Championships. Morgan is expected to be sidelined for up to eight weeks, and Hunter’s arrival provides timely reinforcement ahead of the resumption of the National Road Series at the end of July and a key two-week block of racing in France in August.

Muc-Off–SRCT–Storck, backed by action sports brand Muc-Off and German bike manufacturer Storck, has quickly built a reputation as the leading force in Britain’s elite domestic scene. Though not UCI-registered, the team has dominated the domestic road racing calendar this season. Run on a volunteer basis and with no rider salaries, it has become a blueprint for what a modern, agile racing team can achieve in the UK. Hunter’s addition adds even more depth to a squad already brimming with firepower.
Hunter is expected to make his debut for the team later this month, with eyes on the remaining National Series races and the upcoming European block.
